Houselink Announces New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Houselink Community Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Davis as our new Executive Director.

Brian is currently the Manager of Social Inclusion and Community Investment at Toronto Community Housing.   This position included leading the development of the Mental Health Framework which was recently approved by the TCHC Board of Directors.  As a Community Housing Unit Manager, Brian worked with Houselink on a pilot project in the development of this framework. Prior to that Brian was the Manager of Housing Help and Homelessness services with Woodgreen Community Services.

Brian will start his new position at Houselink on May 3, 2010. There will be a period of transition before Peggy Birnberg, our long term and much loved Executive Director, retires in June.  

We are all excited about working with Brian and hope that everyone will join us in welcoming him to Houselink.
